Paper Thorn Cactus is one of the most unique cactus I have ever owned! They have very large thorns that look mean but are actually more like paper. They also have much smaller thorns, called glochids, to protect them from hungry critters. Native to Argentina, these segmented cactus are extremely hardy to summer extremes where I live in Phoenix, Arizona and can also withstand light frosts.
