Hybrid cross seed grown between H. gracilis and H. aboriginum. Gracilis is endemic to Jamaica, grows erect and prostrate and has a large white flower. Aboriginum is endemic to peninsular Florida, on the Gulf Coast and grows a few feet tall before it becomes prostrate, or trailing. The fruit is edible, but protected by spines. It also has a large white flower. This Cactus requires at least half a days sun and extra water in climates with hot, dry summers. This hybrid is seed grown by me.
