Blue barrel Cactus are medium sized barrel cactus that are native to the states of Hidalgo and Querétaro in Mexico. They grow in arid climates that rarely freeze and stay dry in Winters. They grow solitary until they reach about a foot wide and then they begin to grow more heads basally (from the base). At maturity they can reach 3 feet wide and 2 feet tall. These Cactus require full sun and little to no water in Winter.
